Warranty & Returns
This policy describes the limited warranty Global Endotech, Inc. ("Global Endotech") provides on equipment, parts and repair services, and how to return a product.
1. What is covered
Global Endotech warrants that, for the warranty period below, products it sells and repairs it performs will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, and will conform to the specifications stated in the quotation.
2. Warranty periods
Warranty periods start on the date of delivery to the Buyer:
- Pre-owned / refurbished flexible endoscopes: 90 days
- Pre-owned / refurbished rigid endoscopes: 90 days

- Replacement parts: 90 days
- Repair services: 90 days, covering the specific repair performed and the parts replaced.
A different warranty period stated in the quotation takes priority.
3. What is not covered
The warranty does not cover damage or failures caused by:
- Fluid invasion, including from failing to perform a leak test before reprocessing.
- Bite damage, impact, dropping, crushing or kinking of the insertion tube or cables.
- Improper cleaning, disinfection, sterilization or reprocessing, or use of chemicals or methods not approved by the OEM.

- Repairs, modifications or opening of the device by anyone other than Global Endotech.
- Normal wear of consumable items, such as biopsy channels, bending rubbers, seals and lamps.
- Shipping damage when the Buyer arranged the shipment, and cosmetic wear that does not affect performance.
4. What we will do
If a covered defect is reported during the warranty period, Global Endotech will, at its option, repair the product, replace it with an equivalent product, or refund the purchase price (or repair price) paid. This is the Buyer's sole remedy under the warranty. Repaired or replaced products are covered for the rest of the original warranty period.
5. How to make a warranty claim
- Email inquiries@globalendotech.com with the model, serial number, invoice number and a description of the problem (photos help).
- We will issue a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number and shipping instructions. Products returned without an RMA number may be refused.
- Clean and decontaminate the device according to your facility's protocol before shipping, and include a signed decontamination statement.
- Buyer pays shipping to Global Endotech. For approved warranty claims, Global Endotech pays shipping of the repaired or replacement product back to Buyer.
6. Non-warranty returns
Products may be returned for reasons other than a defect only with our prior written approval, within 14 days of delivery, unused and in original condition. Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee of 15%. Special-order items and parts that have been installed cannot be returned.
